RECRUIT Right is to open a new Liverpool city centre base as expansion of its core areas of operation contribute to the rebuilding of the region’s economy.
The Birkenhead-headquartered business, already a market leader in the industrial, commercial and driving recruitment sectors across Merseyside and the North West, will add the Baltic Triangle site to its portfolio of offices in Manchester and Blackburn.
A surge in online shopping and food manufacturing over the past year, along with the growth of regional transport and logistics operations, has given the company a huge boost and is steering its 2021 plans for expansion.
Director Helen Cornah explained: “Our new Liverpool base will put us at the centre of Liverpool City Region’s drive to increase the local economy as it emerges from the pandemic.
“Over the past year, shopping habits have changed dramatically and signs are that these trends will continue, calling for an increased supply of labour in our key areas of business.
“Recruiting for call centre work has had a massive impact on our operation as has an upward turn for manufacturing and food-based industries and their supply chains.
“As a result, many job opportunities have opened up in sales and finance, food production and packing and a major new contract for us with a waste management organisation sees us filling vacancies for drivers, loaders and recycling operatives.
“Our successful partnerships with food industries and waste management puts us at the heart of recession-proof enterprises such as these and secures our position as a market leader in the industrial, commercial and driving recruitment sectors throughout Merseyside and the North West.”
Investing in the new Liverpool base means Recruit Right will now be closer to many of its existing clients and candidates.
Helen said: “It’s a method of operation that’s been key to the expansion of our existing operations. For instance, in Birkenhead our proximity to a major call centre client has allowed us to successfully develop our on-site services for them while in Manchester our Driving Division, supplying drivers for some of the biggest commercial and industrial concerns, continues to deliver the goods to keep the North of England moving.
“All this expertise will now be focused on bringing the same high-level service to our Liverpool City Region hirers and job seekers.”
Heading up the Liverpool centre will be newly-appointed recruitment consultant Danielle Parkinson and branch manager Simon Ashley-Makin. Danielle has a background in sales management while Simon is a recruitment professional with vast experience of the industrial, manufacturing and office support sectors. Joining them shortly will be a new apprentice administrator.
Helen added: “Danielle’s refreshing new outlook on the recruitment business, coupled with Simon’s extensive knowledge of working with blue-chip clients for many years, will develop and grow our new Liverpool venture so it can contribute to the resurgence of economic activity and the rebuilding of the region’s economy.”
