Wirral Council wants our local communications to thrive. We want local people to be proud of their neighbourhood. We want local people, with local ideas, to have the opportunity to make those ideas a reality. So, we’ve made funding available to help.
The funding is available to tackle issues which are important to local communities in Greasby, Frankby & Irby, Hoylake & Meols, Pensby & Thingwall, Upton & Woodchurch and West Kirby & Thurstaston. So, if you’re part of any community group, voluntary organisation or social enterprise and you have project that will help the community from the areas listed above, but need funding – there’s a great chance we can help.
Drop-in sessions will take place in January to support groups to make an application.
Funding is launched today (20th December 2013) with a deadline of the 31st January 2014 (12 noon).
