Clearground are a facilities maintenance company, working nationally to support some of the best names in commercial property management, student accommodation and hospitality. They have been trading for 15 years this year, and have always wanted to be able to give their team Health Cover, but didn’t know how best to facilitate it. “We have been looking for ways to add to the benefits package for our team to attract new members, as well as positively affect staff absences, increase productively and improve staff engagement”.
As a member of the Wirral Chamber, they were introduced to Westfield Heath via one of the regular members events at The Lauries, and were impressed by their ethos; they are a non for profit organisation who regularly pay large amounts back into the NHS and other charities. The range of benefits offered and also the ease to claim, was another significant factor of partnering with them.
The setup procedure was simple and the scheme introduced by Carol Calland at Westfield Health, who came out to our premises and talked through the benefits and the process with the whole team. Nothing was too much trouble. With their new app which can be downloaded to each person’s mobile phone, it’s easy to claim for dental care, opticians fees and even reductions on gym memberships and therapy treatments such as Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Acupuncture.
One of the main attractions was the 24hour advice line, which also includes a confidential counselling service and up to 6 face to face sessions. Good mental health is as important as physical health, as we understand the long term effect that stress and poor mental health can have on both the work life and the home life of our employees. This helpline can be used to discuss anything from issues in your personal relationships, financial constraints and work place stresses. We feel that this is invaluable to the general wellbeing of our team, and encourage all to use it, whatever the issue.
