Late payment amongst UK businesses has been in the subject of much discussion between business organisations and the government in 2015. Research carried out by Bacs, published July 2015, indicates that SMEs are owed a total of £26.6 billion; this is down from £32.5 billion in July 2014, but is still an extraordinarily high figure that will inevitably put a strain on many UK businesses.
Credit Management Group UK would like to find out if and how late payment has affected businesses, and they have developed a survey to find out just that.
The short survey will focus on the effect of late payments on businesses over the last 12 months. They aim to discover how late payment is affecting different industries, and whether the issue is improving, as recent research has indicated; findings from the survey will be published on the CMG UK blog.
The survey takes just a couple of minutes to complete and all submissions will be entered into a prize draw to win a Kindle Fire HD.
