A psychology graduate and chartered accountant – who played over 400 games as a pro footballer before retiring to become a Partner at Ernst Young. He was also a senior partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers, and retired as the European leader for PwC’s business regeneration practice. He is also the former chief executive of The FA, and Mark and his wife Nicola Palios bought controlling share in Tranmere in August 2014.
